Dr. Gabriella Forte was born and raised in Baltimore. Growing up, she always had an interest in helping animals, particularly through environmental conservation, and has been a part of multiple volunteer projects to improve water quality in the Chesapeake Bay. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, she worked as a technician in an emergency/GP combination hospital where she developed her love of emergency medicine. She graduated from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and went directly into working as an emergency medicine Veterinarian. She enjoys treating not only dogs and cats, but a number of exotic species as well (birds, reptiles, small mammals). Her hobbies include reading, listening to music, and hiking. When she is not at work, she keeps busy by taking care of her dogs, cats, and ball pythons.
