Dr. Kathryn Bonistalli is a Maryland native who graduated from Massey University in New Zealand in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science (BVSc). She returned to the US and completed a rotating internship at Dogs and Cats in 2012. During her internship, she completed a Masters of Veterinary Science Degree (MVSc), also from Massey University (focus on Epidemiology and Immunology). She left Dogs and Cats after her internship and worked in private practice for several years before realizing that she missed the challenge and excitement of Emergency Medicine too much to stay away from it and returned to Dogs and Cats in 2015. She lives with her husband, Andy, and two sphinx cats, Bubba and Brisco. She and Andy enjoy traveling the globe, eating, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
