Pet Safety 101 Program

Getting a pet is a huge commitment not only for adults but for children as well. DCVR is committed to helping pet families be prepared for the unexpected and ensure they have the knowledge they need to keep their pets safe. In February 2020, DCVR officially launched the "Pet Safety 101 Program" to educate children and parents about:

From building partnerships with local elementary schools to setting up booths at local pet events, DCVR continues to seek opportunities to connect and educate pet families on how they can improve the lives of dogs and cats through simple acts of compassion and safety.
