Dr. Abbie Harty recently earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Tulane University.

Throughout her clinical training, Dr. Harty gained extensive experience in both general practice and emergency medicine, completing externships at Mundelein Animal Hospital, Wright Animal Hospital, and BluePearl Specialty and Emergency Pet Hospital. 

On her days off, you might find her exploring state parks, trying out new coffee shops, or enjoying a good book. She also has a pittie mix named Ruth, a sweet girl she rescued during college.
