Dr. Christine Klippen is a dedicated and compassionate veterinarian with a career focused on emergency and specialty medicine. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Colorado State University in 2009, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from CSU and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from George Mason University. In 2021, Dr. Klippen achieved Diplomate status with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in Canine and Feline practice, and she is one of the founding fellows of the Emergency Practice Fellowship offered through ABVP.
Dr. Klippen’s passion for community education and outreach is matched by her commitment to mentoring early-career veterinarians. Her enthusiasm for advancing veterinary medicine and support within the community is evident in all she does. Currently, she resides in Silver Spring with her son and their two beloved cats, Fletcher and Sister, and continues to inspire others through her work and dedication.
