Dr. Mathews completed her surgical residency at the MedVet in Columbus, Ohio in July of 2021. Her surgical interests are in cardiovascular, thoracic, and oncologic procedures, but her favorite part about practicing veterinary medicine is witnessing that moment when a hospitalized patient is joyously reunited with the owner to go home.
