Dr. Anne Weigt is a highly accomplished veterinary ophthalmologist with over two decades of expertise. She obtained her DVM from the University of Tennessee and pursued a small animal medical and surgical internship at VCA Franklin Park in Chicago. Her residency in Ophthalmology was completed at the VA-MD Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Weigt has significantly contributed to the field since 2001, starting her single-doctor practice in Annapolis, MD, named Animal Eye Care, and expanding it to five hospitals within ten years. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Weigt enjoys a rich personal life. She shares her home with her husband, Lee, her standard poodle, Jolene, and her cats, Billie and Chloe.
